This text is a draft and must be reviewed by BBOffices' legal counsel before launch.
What we collect
We collect the information you give us when you contact us, create an account or buy a membership: your name, email address, phone number, company name and billing address.
Card details are entered into a form provided by Stripe, our payment processor. Your full card number never reaches our servers; we only keep the card brand, the last four digits and the expiry date to show you which card is on file.
How we use it
We use your information to provide your membership, take payments, send receipts and notices about your account, answer your questions and meet our legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the platform — Stripe for payments, Amazon Web Services for hosting and email — under agreements that require them to protect it. Our platform data is hosted in Canada.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. They are httpOnly, are not readable by scripts and are not used for tracking.
Retention and your rights
We keep account and billing records for as long as your membership is active and afterwards for as long as tax law requires.
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent, by writing to admin.1200bay@bboffices.ca. We answer within 30 days, as required by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
